What makes a good document for analysis?

The best results come from clean, fully visible documents with readable text and as few shadows, skewed pages, or cut-off edges as possible. Text-based PDFs are ideal because the content can be read directly. Scans and photos work too, as long as the writing is sharp enough and no pages are missing.

German-language contracts are the easiest to assess, but clearly structured English texts can also be useful. Depending on the document type, the AI looks for parties, durations, notice periods, payment rules, liability, revocation language, privacy terms, utilities, probation periods, and other clauses that can affect your rights or money.

  • Upload one complete document per analysis when possible.
  • Use a well-lit scan with minimal distortion.
  • If the text is hard to read, paste it directly instead.
  • Always review the original clauses before making important decisions.
  • Remove unnecessary blank pages and duplicate scans before uploading.
  • Make sure dates, amounts, and names are fully readable.
  • Upload multi-page documents in the correct order so context stays intact.
